PhillyKinder

PhillyKinder Non-Profit Sprach- und Kulturprogramm fuer bilinguale Kinder Lessons are conducted exclusively in German.

Our Mission
Phillykinder is a bilingual community that brings together families in the Greater Philadelphia area to build German language friendships and celebrate events of shared cultural interest. A non-profit language enrichment program, PhillyKinder provides an interactive experience for all language levels through an original and engaging curriculum. Deutsch mit Spiel und Spass!

----------

----------------------------------------------------------
PhillyKinder offers
- weekly online & in-person classes for bilingual children & teens
- weekly classes for children learning German as a foreign language
- a monthly playgroup
- a German summer camp
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Our primary goal is to provide a supportive learning program for children being raised bilingual by fostering the development of their German language skills through interactive learning in age-appropriate groups. Language and culture are taught with a practical orientation and
experienced through all the senses. Group activities supplement general instruction and play a significant role in promoting a sense of community among the children. Older age groups also practice their written language skills. Lessons in each class are provided by an experienced German-speaking instructor with the help of an adult or adolescent teacher's aide. Through all of its work, PhillyKinder sees itself as a community that brings together (bilingual) families in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Please consider supporting the Isaac family through “The Emilia SuperGirl Benefit”

We are hosting a benefit for our "SuperGirl” Emilia, who is currently battling leukemia for the second time. The event will take place on January 17th at The Yard Pub in Havertown.

We are reaching out to all of you to ask for your support for Emilia and the Isaacs family.

Having met the family through Llanerch Presbyterian Preschool and the Movements in Motion dance studio, our group of "dance moms" is organizing a benefit in honor of "Emilia SuperGirl." Our goal is to raise awareness, and to provide support for Kathrin, Brandon, and their three children—Emilia, Lynnea, and Louie—during this challenging time.

If you or someone you know would be willing to contribute to this cause please reach out to Kathleen at 610-209-0441 or mail to [email protected]

We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide for the Isaacs family.

We hope to see many of you on January 17th at The Yard Pub to have a great time together and celebrate our SuperGirl with her SuperFamily. Make sure to buy your ticket

Let’s all cheer “Emilia Rainbow SuperGirl” on!

Best Regards,
