Mentors often think the key to a successful session is being super prepared.

Having the perfect activity.
The perfect plan.
The perfect response.

But trauma-informed mentorship is less about being perfectly prepared and more about being open.

Open to pivoting.
Open to learning.
Open to what the child is actually communicating in the moment.

Because sessions rarely go exactly as planned.

And that’s not failure…that’s relationship.

The magic often happens in the unexpected moments:
When the activity flops.
When emotions show up.
When you figure something out together.

Kids don’t need perfect mentors.
They need responsive ones.

💥Some of his interests are RC cars, building things and anything science related.

🔥We provide all the training needed.🔥

Happy Mother’s Day to each and everyone of you incredible ladies!

Since founding Freedom Reins, I have met and built friendships with some incredible Moms.

Getting to hear your stories, the things you’ve experienced or maybe even the struggles you are currently going through, have been so eye opening.

These ladies are so incredibly tough! Getting up each morning no matter what they are facing and still fighting for those God entrusted into your care.

Each one being willing to be vulnerable and sharing your stories with us in the hope your child/ren can have a better future.

To the biological moms, kinship moms, adopted moms and guardians, WE see you and love each one of you! Thank you for everything you do to help your kids and raising them to be the best they can be.

Great camp Saturday, with an amazing group of kids!
