Please join us this Saturday to safely dispose of any unused medication. 

Do you have old or expired medications that need to be properly disposed of? Drive thru and drop them off on April 25, 2026 from 9am-11am at the Ardmore Elks Lodge in Ardmore, OK. The Carter County Prevention Coalition is partnering with the Carter County Sheriff's Office and the Ardmore Elks Lodge #1906 to host the event. KKAJ will have a live broadcast at the event from 8-11am.

Lock boxes, Naloxone, Medication Disposal Kits, and community resources will be available while supplies last.

Parents! Visit our new In.Visible Exhibit and learn how to recognize the signs of substance misuse in a teenagers room. Our goal with the In-Visible Exhibit is to educate you to recognize potentially dangerous items that could be invisible to you and empower you to keep your teen safe. We hope that what may have been invisible to you before going in, will now be visible when you leave.

Our Lodge is proud to report that we collected over 900 deer hides for the Elks National Veterans Service Commission Veterans Leather Program. The hides have been picked up and will be processed into leather used to make wheelchair gloves and therapy craft kits for veterans.

Thank you to our local hunters and processors who made the donations possible, and to the members who salted the hides, organized storage, and coordinated the pickup. This was a true team effort, and it directly supports our veterans nationwide.

Clay Allison, SW District VP, and Cody Robben, State Tiler, made the trip to Sulphur Veterans center today to help members from the Shawnee Elks lodge serve these deserving hero’s, residents, and staff lunch today.

Elks Hoop Shoot 2025!

The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national free-throw contest that helps kids build confidence, resilience, and a competitive spirit. Kids ages 8–13 can take their shot and even advance through multiple levels of competition all the way to nationals.
