Competitive fast-pitch softball for multiple ages with a family-friendly, working Community Service focus. The Asheville Braves youth baseball and softball teams are working to form a premier organization in Western North Carolina. Our vision is to put competitive teams on the field with high-character coaches and high-character players where winning is important... but so is how we get there. We
believe in teaching softball fundamentals in an inclusive and nurturing environment where kids have fun, are pushed to be their best, and are not afraid to fail along the way; while developing partnerships with parents to enable the best from their child through allowing the coaches to do their job...giving the parent the unique opportunity to enjoy watching their kid play. This is a competitive travel softball organization where our coaches, players, and parents want to win games and tournaments. We believe the best way to achieve this is through an uplifting and even-handing coaching approach where we build the athletes up rather than tearing them down. To be comptetive their attention and best-effort is always expected but the fact that they are children is not lost in the process.
