✨ Board Member Spotlight ✨

Meet Tina Gorby-Baker, our dedicated Treasurer who brings 20 years of experience, leadership, and industry passion to the multifamily world.

Tina began her career as a part-time leasing and marketing professional with MAA and was promoted to Assistant Manager within just six months — a testament to her drive and work ethic. She went on to spend 15 years with Lincoln Property Company (now Willow Bridge), managing lease-ups, new construction, and renovation communities within their NYLife portfolio. She later managed with Pegasus Residential in Greenville, SC before pursuing her passion for marketing with Apartments.com/CoStar — a natural next step in a career where marketing was always one of her favorite parts of the job.

Her service to the industry runs deep. Tina served on the Greater Augusta Apartment Association Board for four years, including two years as Secretary. She was also a longtime member of the Atlanta Apartment Association for 15 years and served on its Membership Committee for two years.

Throughout her career, Tina has earned numerous awards, including two Gold Medallion Awards with Lincoln Property Company and the Flying Pig Award with Pegasus Residential — recognitions that reflect her commitment to excellence and leadership.

On the AAWNC Board, Tina brings financial stewardship, strategic insight, and a heart for strengthening our Association and its members.

We’re proud to have a leader whose experience, dedication, and industry knowledge continue to make a lasting impact. 💙
