When we were replacing the radiator that was vandalized last summer we "noticed" that the muffler on the lift engine had disintegrated after who knows how long...that's fixed and it now " purrs".
Still working on the tiller and changing the grips....

Since we finally got the lift going, we noticed how loud it was. I don't suppose it has anything to do with the fact that there is only half a muffler?

At any rate, Chuck and I removed what was left in one piece so Gene can build a replacement. The tricky part was cutting the old one loose without damaging the Y pipe....we didn't do too bad.

Next lift project is to check out the new grips to see if the will tighten without modification....

Beautiful day...so I headed out to finish...started charging the battery...finished mounting the new radiator...installed oil cooler lines...put coolant in the radiator...finished terminals and installed starter and ignition switch...ready to try to start it but battery wasn't charged yet.....hopefully tomorrow!

Last week I headed out to finish on the lift engine...seems like I didn't have or left behind about everything I needed...however since the the parkinglot was flooded...I thought perhaps a water skiing resort...
