We are proud to have the Dora’s as a member family within Archer County Farm Bureau. Check out the awesome things Ava Dora is continuing through TFB programs.

Dora elected to officer role with Texas A&M Collegiate Farm Bureau

Ava Dora of Archer County has been elected the 2026-2027 Texas A&M Collegiate Farm Bureau Off-Campus Ambassador.

In the officer role, Dora will be responsible for all recruitment and social activities that happen off campus.

Dora is an Animal Science major with a minor in Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University in College Station.

“I look forward to serving as an officer, because it will allow me to grow as a leader while also giving back to an organization that supports students and the agricultural community,” Dora said. “While I have not yet served in this role, I am confident that Collegiate Farm Bureau will challenge me to step outside of my comfort zone and grow into a more effective and confident leader.”

While in high school, Dora participated in Texas Farm Bureau’s (TFB) Student Success Series.

The Texas A&M Collegiate Farm Bureau is one of eight Collegiate Farm Bureaus in the state.

Collegiate Farm Bureau exists to support students engaged in agriculture, enhance members’ education and to develop future leaders for TFB and agriculture.

Leadership and engagement opportunities that encompass career development and professional networking are available for college students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Collegiate members are invited to participate in a variety of events and competitions hosted by TFB.

🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔Serving Our Community — One Meal at a Time!

In celebration of National Agriculture Day, the Archer County Farm Bureau board of directors hit the road and spread out across three communities in Archer County for our Food Connection Event!

Together, we proudly to distributed 500 hamburger meals to local community service centers, Meals on Wheels groups, teacher and families throughout our county.

This effort is more than just a meal — it’s about giving back, connecting, and sharing the story of agriculture. Archer County Farm Bureau spotted a need to donate their time and resources to not only help feed our neighbors, but also to be the voice of agriculture and help others understand where their food comes from.

All donations collected were donated right back to the communities they came from totaling $2,381!

Days like today remind us that agriculture is more than an industry — it’s a community and we are proud to serve ours!

We also would like to extend a big thank you to Dairy MAX (Wade Howard) for donating cheese for our Hamburger meals and helping prepare and distribute meals alongside our board members!
