Troop 25 was founded in April 1961 and has been an active troop for over 60 years.

Myself and the Three Amigos are out at Cherokee Scout Reservation today helping run the STEM station for our council’s Mom & Me camping trip!

It’s been a great day full of learning, laughter, and fun for everyone involved. Love seeing so many families enjoying the outdoors and diving into some hands-on STEM activities together.

This past Tuesday, Troop 25 had an awesome time out at Creekside Park in Archdale, NC, hitting the disc golf course and enjoying the beautiful outdoors together! From first throws to impressive shots, there was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great fellowship all around.

It didn’t take long for everyone to agree that this is definitely something we need to do again! Whether it was learning a new skill or just hanging out with friends, it was a night to remember. Enjoy the pics…

This past Sunday, May 3rd, Owen Atkins was honored at his Eagle Court of Honor. What an incredible milestone in this young man’s life! I’m excited to see all that he will accomplish in his future endeavors. Enjoy the pics…

Troop 25 had a pretty good turnout for OA Spring Induction weekend at Cherokee Scout Reservation. Not only did we spend all day helping to improve the camp, but our boys served as torch bearers for both the Brotherhood and Ordeal Ceremonies. I’m proud of these guys!

Several members of our unit attended the Old North State Council‘s Character In Action Banquet this evening. Our very own Larry Warlick and Owen Atkins were recognized.

Troop 25 camped at Hagan Sea Scout Base this weekend, where we held our annual Eagle Flight School. This campout is designed specifically for our newest Scouts—those who have recently crossed over into the troop. The new Scout patrol camped together for the weekend, focusing on fun, team‑building, and learning to work together as a patrol. In addition, they participated in a series of classes taught by our older Scouts, covering advancement requirements for the Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks. We were also glad to share the weekend with Pack 25, participating together in the flag raising and lowering ceremonies, along with several other activities throughout the campout. On Sunday morning, Owen Atkins, one of our newest Eagle Scouts, led vespers before we packed up and headed home. Enjoy the pics!

A huge thank-you to everyone who supported Troop 25 at our annual spaghetti fundraiser! The boys absolutely knocked it out of the park—cleaning both church vans, setting up, cooking, serving our guests, and handling cleanup from start to finish. We loved seeing everyone and appreciate the support. Enjoy the photos!

If you haven’t bought your tickets yet…come on out. We have tickets available at the door. All proceeds help support the cost of scouting activities, trips, and essential equipment.

Tonight we visited Ultimate Climbing Gym over in Greensboro to work on the Climbing Merit Badge. Everyone had a great time. On a personal note… I was able to make it to the top, but realized very quickly how out of shape I am. Enjoyed the pics…
