Mason Davis, the newest member of Troop 25's Order of the Arrow family, is having a great time at Fall Fellowship at Cherokee Scout Reservation. He's enjoying the fellowship, forging new friendships, and experiencing firsthand what makes the OA such a special part of Scouting.

Troop 25’s Arrowmen are enjoying an incredible weekend at Cherokee Scout Reservation for Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge 70’s Fall Fellowship!

This year’s Wizard of Oz theme is everywhere you look, from creative costumes to outstanding decorations across camp. The dedication and spirit of the lodge have transformed Cherokee Scout Reservation into the Land of Oz, making for a fun and memorable experience for everyone attending.

Our Scouts are enjoying fellowship, activities, and time with fellow Arrowmen from across the Old North State Council. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend filled with friendship, brotherhood, and lasting memories.

We’re proud of our Troop 25 Arrowmen and hope they continue to have a great Fall Fellowship!

🚍⚜️ Troop Adventure Update! ⚜️🚍

While I wasn't able to be there in person this weekend, I want to give a huge shoutout to Assistant Scoutmaster Marcy Shipwash for leading our Scouts on an incredible adventure-filled day!

The day started bright and early with a quick stop at Bojangles for breakfast before heading to the Fort, where the troop had not one, but two personal tour guides and even got to experience an exciting musket demonstration. From there, they grabbed lunch and made their way to the ferry.

One of the highlights of the day was definitely the ferry ride! The boys were absolutely amazed that they could drive onto a boat and ride across the water. 😂⛴️

Once in Southport, the troop explored the local jail (hopefully not preparing for future accommodations! 😏), visited the Maritime Museum, completed a scavenger hunt, and even got to view Old Baldy Lighthouse through a real submarine periscope. They also made a stop at the famous Christmas store and stocked up on some sweet treats.

The day wrapped up with dinner at Rucker John's, where another proud Scout moment took place. According to Marcy, the boys were incredibly responsible with their spending, carefully checking their money, budgeting for the remainder of the trip, and even remembering to account for tips. 💵👏
As Scout leaders, nothing makes us prouder than seeing young men put into practice the lessons of responsibility, planning, and good decision-making. It sounds like they represented our troop exceptionally well throughout the day.

A big thank you again to Assistant Scoutmaster Marcy Shipwash and all the adult leaders who helped make this memorable experience possible. We can't wait to hear more stories and see more pictures from their adventure!

Congratulations to Mason Davis on becoming our troop’s newest member of the Order of the Arrow during the 2026 OA Fall Induction Weekend at Cherokee Scout Reservation!

We are incredibly proud of Mason for this achievement and the commitment he has shown to Scouting and service. A special thank you to all of our troop’s OA members who participated and helped make this a fantastic weekend. Your leadership, dedication, and service continue to make our troop stronger.

We are incredibly proud of our newly elected Chaplain’s Aid, Kai Fears, who recently represented Troop 25 at Archdale Friends Meeting’s Monthly Meeting.

Kai opened the meeting with prayer and delivered a brief devotion that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Many attendees commented on what an outstanding job he did, noting how genuine, heartfelt, and sincere his message was.

Thank you, Kai, for representing Troop 25 with such professionalism, humility, and faith. We look forward to seeing all the great things you'll accomplish in your new role as Chaplain’s Aid!

🚣‍♂️🏕️ Troop 25 Conquers the Nantahala! 🏕️🚣‍♂️

Troop 25 had an outstanding weekend camping and whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River!
We arrived Saturday, enjoyed sandwiches for lunch, and then headed to the river for over three hours of rafting excitement. The rapids were a blast, and everyone had a great time making memories and enjoying the adventure together.

After returning to camp, the Scouts prepared dinner and enjoyed cobbler and cinnamon rolls, which they prepared in the Dutch ovens, before settling in for the night. Everyone got some well-earned rest after a fun-filled day on the water.

Sunday morning, we enjoyed breakfast, cleaned up camp, and prepared to head home. Before leaving, our Senior Patrol Leader, Grayson, led a meaningful vesper service for the troop. We then loaded up the vans and made the trip back home.

A big thank you to all the Scouts and leaders who helped make this weekend such a success. Weekends like these are what Scouting is all about: adventure, teamwork, leadership, and friendship!

🦅 Congratulations to Troop 25's Newest Eagle Scout! 🦅

We are proud to announce that Bryson Frazier successfully passed his Eagle Board of Review this evening, earning the well-deserved rank of Eagle Scout!

Bryson's achievement is the result of years of dedication, perseverance, leadership, and hard work. Throughout his time in Troop 25, he has demonstrated the values and spirit of Scouting while serving as an outstanding member of our unit.

Please join us in congratulating Bryson on reaching Scouting's highest rank. We are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and look forward to seeing the great things he will achieve in the future.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out today to help with Connor Jenn's Eagle Scout Project! The support, hard work, and teamwork on display were incredible, and none of this would have been possible without so many people willing to give their time and effort. We are truly grateful for each and every person who helped make today a success.

Connor, congratulations on reaching this major milestone! The physical work may be finished, but don't forget that an Eagle project is more than just the build. Now it's time to tackle the final write-up, document what was accomplished, and reflect on the differences between what was originally proposed and how the project actually unfolded. That's all part of demonstrating the leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills you've shown throughout this journey.

Keep pushing toward the finish line. You've done the hard work, and the Eagle rank is now one step closer. We're proud of you and can't wait to see the completed project package submitted!
