For the third year in a row, Valley View was recognized as #1 in the nation for public schools for their fundraising for the American Cancer Society’s Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers week. This year, the Valley View School District raised a record amount of $21,800 for their annual Coaches vs Cancer event. The Coaches vs. Cancer program raises funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society fight cancer and provide hope to people facing this disease.

Valley View School District raised a record amount of $21,800 for the American Cancer Society through their annual Coaches vs. Cancer campaign. The Coaches vs. Cancer program raises funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society fight cancer and provide hope to people facing this disease. Thank you to the Valley View Community for their continued support.

Dickson City Hyundai Sponsors a 3-Point/Foul Shot Challenge for Valley View’s Coaches vs Cancer basketball games.

Recently during Valley View’s Coaches vs Cancer basketball games, Dickson City Hyundai sponsored a 3-Point and Foul Shot Challenge for the Valley View boys and girls varsity basketball teams. For every 3 point shot made by Valley View during the Coaches vs Cancer game, Dickson City Hyundai donated $30, and for every foul shot made, $5 was donated. Valley View was presented with a check for $545 from the 3 Point/Foul Shot Challenge. A total of $1045 was donated this year by Dickson City Hyundai to Valley View’s American Cancer Society Coaches vs Cancer event!

LEO Club Donates $1,000 to Valley View’s Coaches vs Cancer Event

The Valley View High School LEO Club, advised by Beverly Lesnefsky, donated $1,000 to benefit the Valley View School District’s Coaches vs Cancer event. In addition to the donation, these members of the LEO club volunteered their time by helping to run all the Coaches vs Cancer events.
