🌊Grace Marton Memorial Park is officially opening on Friday, October 30th at 4PM. Join us for a ribbon cutting, complimentary food and beverages, and fun activities!🌊

This brand-new park was made possible by Grace Marton and Lance Hardie who left money in their will for the establishment of a new park. These two community members shared many lunches together and enjoyed the view in the same spot where this beautiful park now sits. We invite the community to come play in this new space featuring a children's playground, picnic areas, gardens, and game area featuring a permanent co****le court and chess & checkers table.

DHHS is hiring a Senior Medical Office Assistant to join our Public Health team. Duties may include scheduling meetings, processing paperwork, development of division procedures, checking and sorting requests to the Public Health Nursing Administration inbox and assisting with Community Wellness Center building operations and training of medical office staff as needed.

Our next monthly meeting is Monday, October 19 at 5:30 at the fire station in Fairhaven. This is an opportunity to learn more about how earthquakes, tsunamis, and El Niño might impact out community. We'll have resources for emergency preparedness and updates on some of the other things we have been working on. Hope to see you there!
