High School Pledge Alliance TAKE THE PLEDGE! LIKE THE PAGE! The Pledge began in Arcata at HSU 25 years ago. Our goal is to start a movement in high schools.

It's since been written into graduation ceremonies at Berkeley, MIT, Harvard, and many other college campuses worldwide! The founding members of the High School Pledge Alliance plan to spread the pledge through social networking, word of mouth, and "Pledge Print" ceremonies at high school graduations. Beginning with Arcata High School's Class of 2012, we will give all graduating students the opportunity to take the pledge with their thumbprint and signature at commencement.
