Humboldt Permaculture Guild

Humboldt Permaculture Guild "Like" our Page to stay up to date on local Permaculture events, workshops, and more. The Humboldt Permaculture Guild aims to provide platforms for networking.

The Humboldt Permaculture Guild (HPG) is a group of food producers, business owners, builders, educators, permaculture designers, Earth and seed stewards, and community members. We all share a belief in resilient homes and communities, regenerative lifestyles, educating community, stewardship of natural systems, local seed development, appropriate and natural building, conservative and productive

water and energy use, and observant, mindful, and holistic thinking and action. Permaculture provides an accessible and empowering framework for necessary individual and cultural change in the face of environmental and cultural challenges. Our focus is on resiliency, adaptation, basic needs fulfillment (food, water, shelter, community), natural patterns/systems/relationships, and providing models for others to follow. To foster social gatherings, events, and cohesion, to develop and maintain a flexible and productive Guild structure, collaborate with complimentary groups, assist in designing and implementing permaculture initiatives, and especially educating and mobilizing the community to these ends.
