Here is another of the Art on Oak Street pictures.

The 4H and the Desoto County Fair allows our kids to learn the importance of our agricultural lifestyle here in Desoto County. You’ll find this photo posted on the front window of the Oak Tree Hotel next to the Tree of Knowledge on Oak street.

Good morning, friends of the Arts…

If you haven’t seen the photo display in downtown Arcadia, please take note…. At the Oak Tree Hotel you will see a series of photographs, including the one below of friends enjoying chess in an outdoor setting. This and others will be on display showing activities and people of our community. Display will change from time to time. We will keep you posted.

The “Art on Oak” community service project is presented by the Desoto Arts Center in cooperation with Arcadia Mainstreet. Our new theme is “Desoto County Kids” sponsored by Double K Rodeo Productions. The series of 8 large photographs depicts a cross section of young people, their lifestyle, and accomplishments.
