✨Today, SAE Sunday goes to the Arcadia FFA in Section 3 to learn more about freshman Claire Schank's, SAE in Beef Production.✨
🐮Currently Claire owns one beef heifer and manages one that her father and uncle own. In the future she looks to expand her numbers. But, with managing these heifers comes many responsibilities. Some of these include checking water levels in the tanks, providing hay, and working with the heifers so they can be shown at small jackpot shows and the county fair.
Some things Claire has accomplished are purchasing her first heifer and having the courage to go all in and pursue this SAE.
🙌Over the next few years Claire would like to work hard and win some cattle shows she participates in. She also hopes to continue to grow her cattle numbers so she can have her own herd one day.
