🌟 THANK YOU, ARCADIA DAZE VOLUNTEERS! 🌟

Arcadia Daze 2026 was a tremendous success, and it would not have been possible without the many volunteers who generously gave their time and energy in service to our community.

Together, we filled 85.2% of our open volunteer shifts! We were also thrilled to see so many volunteers bring friends and family members to work alongside them. Your teamwork, enthusiasm, and willingness to help made a meaningful difference throughout the entire event.

From all of us at Arcadia Daze, thank you for helping make this year’s celebration shine! We are so grateful for each and every one of you. 💛✨

Happy Sundaze!

8:30-11am Join us for the Lions pancake breakfast at the Arcadia Community Center, ($15 per adult, kids 10 and under eat free)

10:00-4:00 The arts and crafts fair continues on 4th street
11:00-3:00 Twister Joe, Balloon artist, will be creating custom art at Finch Park

12:30-1:15 Plymouth Fife & Drum Concert and Drum March from the Marina to Finch Park

12-5:00 pm Beverage tent, hot dogs, brats and snacks available

1:30-2:30 Watch the Starry Nightz Parade with Jeanne Sitter as Grand Marshal

2:30 pm Lions raffle drawing at Finch Park

3:00 -4:30 We’ll close out the Daze with the Scottville Clown Band Concert at Finch Park

Arcadia Daze 2026 continues today, Saturdaze!

8:00 am Auto Muster registration opens, judging continues throughout the morning with the awards ceremony at 3:00 pm

8:30-11am Join us for the Lions pancake breakfast at the Arcadia Community Center, ($15 per adult, kids 10 and under eat free)

9:00 am Cheer on the runners in the 5K Run, sign your kid up for Free Kids Fishing (lessons and equipment provided) at Grebe Park

10:00 am Stroll the Arts & Crafts Fair on 4th street, bring your kids by the Town Hall for free vision testing provided through the Lions Club International Kidsight program from 10 am-5 pm.

10:30-1:30 Kids Activities at Finch Park at the Tennis Courts with crafts, games and races

11:00-4:00 Tour the newly reopened Arcadia History Museum

11:30am Don’t forget to head to Trinity Lutheran Church for their famous German Potato Salad and Ham Luncheon ($18 Adult, $10 kids 12 and under)

5:00 pm Join us for chicken dinner ($18) which will be served until sold out, tickets can be purchased beginning at 5:00 pm on Friday, dance to the live music of Barefoot and enjoy the hot dogs, brats, snacks/pop and beverage tent

9:00 pm Dance to live music by Little Dipper, a 90s country revival band playing boot scootin’ tunes till 1:00 am at Finch Park

It’s Fridaze, that means It’s time to kick off Arcadia Daze 2026 Starry Nightz!

Join us for the following:

4:30 pm Opening Ceremony at Finch Park with the Pledge of Allegiance led by the Girl Scouts of Bear Lake, live music by Gretchen Woell and recognition of our Grand Marshal, Jeanne Sitter and long-serving volunteers

5:00 pm Dominic Fortuna returns again this year to perform his smooth melodies from 5-8 pm, the Beverage Tent and Hot Dogs, Brats and Snack Tents open and the Pulled Pork Dinner service begins, $15 a plate and service runs until we’re sold out

9:00 pm Welcome a new band, the Great Lakes Brass Band, a Michigan Second Line Brass Band - Inspired by New Orleans, Born of the Great Lakes

Dark Head over to the field at the corner of Lake and 1st street with your blankets and chairs to watch a spectacular fireworks display launched from a barge on Arcadia Lake while you listen to tunes by DJ Jay Kruz. Following the fireworks show, the Great Lakes Brass Band will lead us back to Finch Park to continue to dance the night away until 1:00 am. A special thanks to the Arcadia Fireworks Fund who brings us one of the best fireworks shows on Lake Michigan.

Back by Popular Demand, the Onekama Lions Club will be offering FREE vision screening for kids during Saturday's Daze at the Arcadia Town Hall across from Finch Park from 10 am-5 pm as part of the Lions Club International's Kidsight program.

Stop in for your children's free vision test anytime during those hours. Whenever the Lions offer this screening, we identify several children who we refer for a follow up with an eye doctor.

I continue to be so amazed by the willingness of Arcadians and our visitors to step up and volunteer to serve at Arcadia Daze. Remember recently when I said we were at 50% of slots filled?

I just ran the most recent report and we are now at 82% full! We started with 317 open slots, and now we're down to just 17!

Happy Wednesdaze Arcadia!

Our second night of "Early Daze" continues tonight with Trivia Night at the Arcadia Community Center from 6:30-8:30 pm. Entry fee is $10 per player, benefiting the Lions' Scholarship and Nonprofit Donation Fund. We have over $450 in restaurant gift certificates for prizes, with many ways to win.

Don't worry about cooking dinner or eating before you come, we've got that covered! Slayer Mac & Cheese, one of our weekend food trucks, will be onsite at the center tonight serving up their delicious varieties of Mac & Cheese. They will be ready at 4:30pm before trivia so even if you’re not playing stop on by for Mac n cheese!

You don't have to play trivia to eat at the food truck, stop on by and grab dinner for yourself or the entire family! The food truck is ready at 4:30pm.

Arcadia Daze 2026 kicks off tonight with our “Early Daze” event series with Sharing Star Stories at Arcadia Community Center. Featuring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore’s mobile planetarium, “Bear Force One,” this ranger-led laser projector immersive show brings the cosmos to Northern Michigan for a 30 minute view of the dark skies like you’ve never seen them before.

The time slots are 4:30-8:00 pm and run every 30 minutes. Pre reservations were required and most slots are full.
