Gatlin Creek Community Center The Center! A gathering place for Arapahoe NC natives, far away members, and surrounding communities. Open to all and here to serve the community of 28510.

Community Center located on Don Lee Road that served the Gatlin Creek community from the early 50s until now. Look for events, talking points, and discussions for members near and far. A place for those in town and out of town to connect, meet, discuss, and enjoy memories.

🍓🌶️ Strawberry Jalapeño Cowboy Candy

Ingredients:
2 cups strawberries (hulled & sliced)
1 cup jalapeños (sliced into rings)
1 cup sugar
½ cup apple cider vinegar
½ cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp garlic powder

Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine:
* Sugar
* Apple cider vinegar
* Water
* Lemon juice
* Garlic powder
Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves
Add sliced strawberries and jalapeños
Simmer for 10–15 minutes until slightly softened and syrup thickens
Remove from heat and let cool slightly
Transfer to a jar or container
Let sit and absorb flavors (even better after a few hours)
