PUBLIC NOTICE
The Aransas Pass Housing Authority will begin accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 program on Tuesday, April 15th. Our program jurisdiction includes the communities of Aransas Pass, Ingleside, Portland, and Rockport. Applications can be picked up at the Aransas Pass Housing Authority located at 254 N. 13th St., Aransas Pass, TX 78336 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or request electronic applications by calling 361-758-3032 or emailing [email protected]. Completed applications may be submitted in person, by mail, or email. Where the family is initially determined to be eligible, all complete Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 applications will be entered into the HCV waiting list by date and time order as received.

The Aransas Pass Housing Authority has made significant changes to the Public Housing ACOP and HCV Admin Plan to update policies and align with HUD’s regulations and address HUD findings. The 2025 Utility Allowance is also available. Both plans are available for review and comment until November 30, 2024, at the Aransas Pass Housing Authority located at 254 N. 13th Street, Aransas Pass, TX 78336.
