🇺🇸 D-Day Remembrance – June 6, 1944 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women whose courage changed the course of history on D-Day.

Their determination, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment remind us that even in the face of overwhelming challenges, hope and perseverance can prevail.

At Fight Like A Warrior (FLAW), we see that same spirit in every cancer patient, survivor, caregiver, and family member who faces each day with strength and courage.

As we remember the heroes of Normandy, let us also celebrate the warriors among us who continue to fight their own battles with grace and resilience.

Today, we celebrate the incredible strength, courage, and resilience of every cancer survivor.

A cancer diagnosis may change a life, but it does not define it. Survivors are living proof that hope is stronger than fear, courage is greater than adversity, and every day is a victory worth celebrating.

🌟 This morning, Sarah Zaragoza, FLAW Board Secretary, and Taysha Gibbs, Founder of Fight Like a Warrior Foundation, had the honor of attending the Leadership St. Bernard “Get Involved” Nonprofit Expo at the Chalmette High Cultural Arts Center.

We are incredibly grateful to the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director Erin Bigner for inviting us to share FLAW’s mission with Leadership Class 13 and fellow community leaders.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to connect, spread awareness, and continue building support for individuals and families facing cancer. Together, we are making a difference in our community! 💙🎗️

As we remember our fallen heroes this Memorial Day, we also stand beside the warriors still fighting battles of their own every single day. Their courage inspires us all.

Happy Belated Birthday to two of our favorite volunteers, Diane Peterson Coleman & Terri Truitt! We love y’all! We had a great FLAW's Rise & Thrive Mini-Festival Post Event Review and are already looking forward to next year’s event. 🎗️🎗️🎗️

FLAW’s 2nd Annual Rise & Thrive Mini-Fest at Docville Farm was a beautiful day of hope, healing, and community for families impacted by cancer. 💜

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this special event. Together, we continue to remind our community that no one fights alone.
