Attention HS Volleyball and Football parents. Media Day pictures will be taken this week if interested. Team photos and individual sport photos will be taken at a later date. These are specific to the fun sport style of a media day shoot only. These do not have to be done. It’s 100% your choice. Reach out to your coaches if you have any questions.

🏈 The first week of two-a-days is in the books! 🏈

Congratulations to our Cougar athletes on completing the first week of preparations for the 2026 season! The hard work, dedication, and commitment they’re putting in now will pay off on game day.

As the season gets underway, don’t forget there are several ways you can support these amazing student-athletes.

🧡 Donate to the General Fund – Your donation helps support teams that don’t receive enough sponsorships and allows Aquilla Game Day to continue expanding meals and snacks to additional sports throughout the year.

🍽️ Sponsor a Game Day Meal or Snack – Families, businesses, churches, organizations, and community groups can choose a game to provide a meal or snack for our athletes. If you’d like to sponsor a date, simply send us a message! We’ll help coordinate the schedule and make sure dates don’t overlap.

No matter how you choose to give, every dollar and every meal goes directly toward supporting Aquilla athletes.

If you own a local business, we’d love to visit with you about Aquilla Game Day.

One of the biggest reasons this program has continued to grow is because of businesses that choose to invest in our students. Whether it’s sponsoring a meal, making a one-time donation, supporting a specific sport, or becoming one of our annual sponsors, every gift helps us continue providing Game Day meals and snacks for Aquilla athletes.

We offer several sponsorship levels with benefits like business recognition, Aquilla spirit wear, and admission to select games. We know every business is different, so we’d be happy to visit with you and find a sponsorship level that works well for your business.

Aquilla Game Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we’re happy to provide our EIN and donation documentation for your records.

We’ve had several people ask how donations are divided between sports, so we wanted to explain how Aquilla Game Day is organized.

Every sport has its own fund, and for sports with both junior high and high school teams, those are separated too. We do that so every donation stays with the group it’s intended to support. Football is the exception because Junior High and High School are served together on Thursdays, so they share one Football Game Day fund.

For example:

🏐 If you donate to High School Volleyball, those funds stay with High School Volleyball.

🏐 If you donate to Junior High Volleyball, those funds stay with Junior High Volleyball.

👟 If you donate to High School Cross Country, those funds stay with High School Cross Country.

👟 If you donate to Junior High Cross Country, those funds stay with Junior High Cross Country.

🏈 If you donate to Football Game Day, those funds stay with Football Game Day and help support our football players and cheerleaders.

🧡 If you donate to the General Fund, those dollars help support teams that don’t receive enough donations and allow us to continue expanding Game Day to additional sports.

As our athletes head into two-a-days and another Texas August, our coaches have one simple goal: keep every athlete hydrated, healthy, and ready to compete.

To help make that happen, they’re asking for a few donations that can make a big difference during practices.

Items needed:
💧 Bottled water
🥤 Sports drinks
🧊 Popsicles
🥒 Large jars of pickles

If you’re able to pick up an extra case of water, a box of popsicles, a few sports drinks, or a jar of pickles during your next trip to the store, we’d greatly appreciate it. Every donation helps our athletes stay hydrated, cool down, and reduce the risk of cramping during these long, hot practices.

Donations can be dropped off under the awning behind the gym. If you’d prefer to give anonymously, that’s perfectly fine too.

Two-a-days begin Monday at 7:00 a.m. for our high school athletes, and we’re excited to kick off another season.

Thank you for always showing up for our kids. It’s one of the things that makes this community so special.
