We’re so excited to welcome Conscious Foundations Parenting to the Birth & Baby Fair this year

Meet Marta—certified Positive Discipline parent educator, Circle of Security facilitator, learning designer, and mama passionate about helping families feel more connected, calm, and confident in the early years ✨

Through her own journey into motherhood, Marta became deeply passionate about understanding what children are truly communicating beneath behavior—and how a parent’s own nervous system shapes connection within the family.

Her work gently supports parents in building strong emotional foundations from the very beginning, rooted in attachment, safety, regulation, and connection

At the fair, Marta will be sharing information about her parenting classes and 1:1 support for families with babies and young children.

Not only is she an INCREDIBLE full spectrum doula, she is also a member of our Advisory Board, a Circle mama, and she secured soooooo many of the sweet freebies you'll get when you show up Saturday!

¡Feliz Cinco De Mayo mi gente!

Did you know...

Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day. It honors Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862; a story of resistance, resilience, and cultural pride.

So how do we celebrate in a way that feels good, respectful, and rooted in appreciation? Let’s talk about it 👇

💛 DO:
❤️Celebrate the Culture
Support local LatinX-owned businesses (restaurants, artisans, musicians)
🤍Learn about Mexican history, traditions, and contributions
💚Enjoy authentic foods, music, and art with intention

🚫 DON’T:
• Reduce a Culture to a Costume
Skip the sombreros, fake mustaches, and “fiesta” stereotypes
• Avoid turning culture into a party theme without context
• Don’t treat today as just an excuse to drink cervesas and eat tacos

Appreciation vs. Appropriation

Appreciation = curiosity, respect, learning, and giving credit

Appropriation = taking, stereotyping, and profiting without understanding
