It is one of our biggest fund raisers of the year and it is fast approaching and so we need Volunteers

On or about 19 June (friday) the fireworks are to be delivered to the tent at the Appomattox Walmart

Then starting Saturday 20 June to 4 July, from 10am to 8pm we will be open and selling fireworks

If you are a Post 104 Legion Member, Auxiliary, Son of Legion member, Legion Rider and or the spouse or better half to any of the above we could use your help. In set up, selling and tear down every day we are open.

We have had several Members and their better half work the tent. Our goal is to sell out like we did last year.

If your a Veteran and not part of the American Legion it will be a great time for you to come talk and ask questions.

Don't Forget the Appomattox fireworks and more will be held on 3 July, Yes Post 104 Honor Guard will be presenting the Colors and the Post WWI cannon will be there to signal the start of the show. Post 104 will be selling Popcorn, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy and Water. So please stop and support Post 104 and enjoy the festivities of the night.

It is not often we get pictures from our Post Members that live in other states, but this was a fun one to share .

PUFL Member and Post 104 Legion Member Larry McWherter (Air Force) from Illinois was selected to be the Military Guest of Honor in Washington Illinois Memorial Day Parade today and got to ride with Batman in the Batmobile. Monday 25th at 11am Post 104 will be conducting a Memorial Day Ceremony

Post is located at 765 Oakleigh Ave in Appomattox.

This is open the public so please come join us at 11am.

Also any Vetrans not a American Legion Member come join us Monday for our normally scheduled meeting at 630pm.

Post 104 Celibrating Armed Forces weekend with our Don Barney Memorial event at the Plaza in Appomattox, we have food, drinks, Antique Cars. Display by Virigina State Police, Appomattox Fire and Rescue and Sheriff Dept. Some other Organization also displaying down here today. So come on down see the displays the cars and more
We will be having a Motorcycle Blessing from the Department of Virginia American Legion, Legion Rider Chaplain. Great weather come out and support Post 104 American Legion. What a great day we had Legion Members, the Post Auxiliary, several of our Son Of Legion Members helping and of course our Post Legion Riders who put this event together. Along with many of the Spouses that helped. Thank you all from the Post 104 Family that made this a great event
And like any event we have possibly 4 new Post Members to add to the Family.

Post 104 is stationed in Bedford VA, for the 250th parade. If your around at 11am in Bedford come for the parade.
