Tomorrow, Tuesday December 2nd is national "Giving Tuesday." Please consider donating to Augusta Community Sailing as part of your tax deductible charitable giving this holiday season. ACS is the Augusta Sailing Club's non-profit community outreach arm.
Our focus is getting new sailors safely on the water for the first time, then building them into lifelong sailors. Your donations support youth boating safety education and competitive sailing at local and regional regattas.
We are thankful for the many volunteers and donors that are so critical to the mission. This year donors helped us purchase a new Zodiac RIB to use as a coach boat and safety boat - you saw it on the water at Halloween Regatta. For 2026 we plan to get a trailer for the high school teams to travel, some new sails, and renew the learn-to-sail fleet.

It's health and benefits open season - reminder to parents that Sail Camp is an eligible childcare expense for your dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSA). The money used to fund your dependent care FSA is pretax; participation can lower your overall tax bill.

You can use your dependent care FSA to cover summer camp expenses for a child who’s age 12 or younger. 2025 camp tuition was $375.

Please consider this when deciding on your FSA contributions for 2026. Consult your tax professional for specifics.
