Don't forget to renew your membership for 2026:
Thanks so much for all the generous donations to Green Apple Folk Music Society in the past. Your contributions helped us to keep folk music alive and well through many events including concerts, hoots, song sharing circles, singing along at the Shawano Folk Festival, the "Pick"nic, and the annual campout at Hartman Creek.
Special thanks to those who have already renewed their memberships for 2026.
If you haven't already taken care of it, please consider making a new donation for the new year. Your donation of any amount will be sincerely appreciated and will qualify you as a Green Apple member for 2026. (Don't worry - if you made your first donation in the second half of 2025, we've got you down as a member for this year, too.)
Green Apple’s mission as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is to promote and encourage folk music in Northeast Wisconsin. This will be our 43rd year of carrying out that mission.
Donations are used to cover our expenses including musician fees, venue rentals, ASCAP licensing, sound equipment, and communications costs. In most years, those total about $3500.
If you are a musician who has performed for Green Apple, thank you! We hope you appreciate the opportunities that the organization provides to performers in our part of Wisconsin. If you haven't yet performed for us, new acts are always welcome at our hoot/open mike events. Consider taking the plunge - we have the best and most welcoming audiences.
Green Apple is a strictly volunteer organization, with no paid leadership or support positions. And we are always looking for new volunteers, so please get in touch if you are interested. Opportunities include serving on the board, set-up/take-down, ticket table, sound engineering, intermission treats, and more.
