Check out the Plasma speakers created by member Tony Salsich! That’s right, these speakers use a ball of plasma to generate incredibly accurate high frequency sound waves. Fed by a
tank of helium and a power supply to sustain the arc, these are the ultimate in high end audio gear! (Note: the lower speakers were just for some bass during the demo.)

Members have access to welding equipment, torches, propane forge, 12-ton forging press, heat-treat kiln, belt grinders, and more.
Open houses every Thursday night, 7-9 pm.

Bob Geenen - The Appleton Makerspace is a great place to take your ideas from concept to reality. I created this advertising for Greene's on the Green to be used during breaks in the action at Wisconsin Herd games in Oshkosh. The contestant simply has to putt a golf ball into the little hole at the bottom of the board... from the opposite end of the basketball court. They even give you two tries! How hard could it be?

Derek Sanford - I've wanted to make a ring from Patrick Adair Supplies for years but haven't had access to a lathe. The project was easy and very satisfying; just a couple hours. I used dragon scale opal (not enough), copper powder, and cremains from my father and grandfather to make the inlay.
