It All Starts With A Seed
Welcome to Gluten Free Group, LLC. In 2011, our second daughter was born. Sophia was born with Down Syndrome. On top of Down Syndrome, Sophia was born with a heart defect that was repaired at the age of 5 ½ Months. Sophia is an amazing young girl and a true testament to the meaning of “Never Give Up!” In April 2016, Sophia was diagnosed with Celiac. Since that time, we have had her on a strict Gluten-Free diet. It has been a long and bumpy road. It is hard to find a single location to shop for Gluten-Free foods. We currently visit 4 different stores just to get the basics. It is even harder to find Gluten-Free ingredients to prepare our own Gluten-Free foods. Not to mention the outrages price. 4 hamburger buns for $5-$6 or 5 pounds of Gluten-Free flour for $8-$11. My wife and I have decided to start Gluten Free Group, LLC with the sole intent to provide a larger selection of Gluten-Free foods at a Fair Price.
We are currently laying the ground work and anticipate opening a GF-Market in the Fox Valley area. We have ambitious long-term goals but we are focusing on the GF-Market at this time. We welcome suggestions, ideas and of course comments. (Contact Us)
Please share with everyone you know. It is amazing how many people are Gluten-Free and you may not even know. Just the other day, while meeting with someone, I was informed of 2 people that also have Celiac. So please help spread the word.
