The E & E Memorial Golf Outing started after Mike Pelky lost his mother, Elaine Pelky, to colon cancer and just a few short years later lost his sister, Eleanor Kellermann (Pelky), to breast cancer. He used the golf outing as a way to bring the family together to socialize and remember those they miss dearly. The tradition is still strong and bigger than ever with Eleanor’s son, Jon Kellermann and
his wife, Rusti, founding the E & E Memorial, Inc. and heading the board with Mike acting as a board member. This tradition has turned into so much more than family gathering to remember loved ones gone far too soon. This is a way that the family can raise funds and awareness to further research in ending cancer. Our logo is reminiscent of the original logo used for the very first E & E Memorial Golf Outing. We have incorporated a lavender ribbon representing all types of cancer. The E & E Memorial Golf Outing would not be possible without the volunteers that give their time to help support this cause. We deeply appreciate the hard work and sacrifice our volunteers contribute for our event. Especially the Pelky family, their boundless enthusiasm and commitment to helping others are essential components of the E & E Memorial, Inc.
