Summer camp season has come to an end, and we want to give a big THANK YOU! Thank you to the campers who made this summer so fun! Thank you to the families for choosing Bubolz & letting us create such great memories with your kiddos out in nature. Lastly, thank you to our awesome naturalist & intern team who ROCKED it this summer!

🌿 Tucked into a beautiful natural setting, The Amphitheater offers an intimate ceremony experience with a grand gazebo ✨, rustic stone fireplace, and stunning retaining wall.
Guests enter across a charming bridge, creating a magical moment before the ceremony even begins 💍🤍.
This lovely space accommodates up to 60 guests comfortably with room for additional seating if needed 👏.

Join us next month for another Craft & Cocktail! We are super excited about this next one! Check out the details 👇🥂

For our next Craft & Cocktail, we will practicing a new craft: Kinusaiga! This is a Japanese art form created in 1987 by Maeno Takashi. The word Kinusaiga translates to "silk picture" and it's all about valuing resourcefulness and giving leftover materials a second life! Bring in some scrap fabric and repurpose it into something beautiful!

It'll be a fun night of crafting, sipping on yummy drinks, and enjoying community out here on the preserve! 💛

Join us for the 33rd Annual Romp in the Swamp, presented by Essity, on Saturday, October 17th for a day of fall fun! 🎃

Enjoy a hay wagon ride, s’mores, trick-or-treat stations, prairie maze, costume contest, games, and a family-friendly movie with popcorn! 🍿

Did you know that green frogs may take multiple years to metamorphose from a tadpole to a frog? The female green frog can also lay clutches up to 7,000 eggs!

Want to learn more about these awesome amphibians and other critters that live in our ponds? Check out our LAST Let's Go Froggin' of the summer! We'll start inside with a short presentation about our pond life before going out pond dipping!

Exciting progress is underway! Construction has officially begun on the trails, and we're one step closer to creating an even better outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. ☀️

This project wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our community. Thank you to everyone who donated, and helped support us in this campaign. Your generosity and encouragement have made this milestone possible.

As construction continues, there may be temporary trail closures or detours. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these improvements are completed.

🌿Stay tuned for updates as we make progress—we can't wait to welcome everyone back to enjoy the finished trails!
