Thank you to the local leaders who joined us last week to learn more about the My Housing Voice Housing Market Analysis project.

We were excited to share an early look at what we've learned from the hundreds of individuals, families, caregivers, and community members who participated in this project.

The discussion was thoughtful, engaging, and encouraging. It reminded us that there is a strong commitment across Northeast Wisconsin to improving housing opportunities and outcomes for adults with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities.

While our final housing market analysis is still in development, this workshop marked an important step toward turning community voices into meaningful action.

We're grateful for the leaders and organizations that are helping move this conversation forward, and we look forward to sharing the full report later this year.

Over the past 7 weeks, hundreds of individuals, families, caregivers, professionals, and community members came together through the My Housing Voice project to share experiences, ask questions, and help shape future housing conversations for individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities (A/I/DD) across Northeast Wisconsin.

To everyone who attended an in-person session, watched the presentation online, shared our posts, encouraged others to participate, or completed the survey, THANK YOU!

Your voices, stories, and lived experiences matter. Because of your participation, we now have valuable community-driven data that will help guide future conversations around housing needs, opportunities, and solutions.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to be part of this important project.

Preston recently shared his story and why projects like My Housing Voice matter. His perspective is an important reminder that housing conversations need to include the voices of self-advocates themselves.

If you are a self-advocate with autism or an intellectual/developmental disability (A/I/DD), we want to hear from you. Your experiences, ideas, and preferences matter and can help shape future housing conversations and opportunities across Northeast Wisconsin.

You do not need to be actively looking for housing to participate. Every survey response helps us better understand what people truly want and need in their communities.
