🥕 Rescue Food Makes a Difference! 💚
What is rescue food? It’s good, safe food that might otherwise go to waste—but instead is collected and provided to people who need it.

Thanks to generous local grocery partners, Apple Valley Food Shelf has collected over 115,000 pounds of rescue food so far this year! 🙌
Our rescue food partners include:

🛒 Fresh Thyme – Apple Valley
🛒 Byerly’s – Eagan & Apple Valley
🛒 Hy-Vee - Lakeville

Every pound rescued means more food reaching our neighbors and less good food going to waste.

Delivery support & stocking
*No client contact • Lift up to 40 lbs.*

🛒 TUESDAY / THURSDAY | 8:45 AM–12:45 PM or 12:30–4:30 PM
Food shelf volunteers to assist clients, sort food & stock shelves
**Current need:** 2nd & 4th Tuesdays + substitutes

🥫 THURSDAY / FRIDAY | 8:30–11:30 AM
Food rescue & stocking
**Current need:** 2nd & 4th Thursdays + Friday substitutes

🛍️ SATURDAY | 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Help clients shop & stock shelves

🚚 DELIVERY DRIVERS | 8:30–9:30 AM
Pick up food from local grocery stores
*Large SUV or truck required • Lift up to 30 lbs. • Twice a month*
