Parade of Pianos

Parade of Pianos PoP is a nonprofit organization giving young serious musicians the opportunity to learn and perform by aiding with music expenses and providing audiences.

Parade of Pianos is a nonprofit organization under the umbrella of High Desert Community Foundation. The organization is designed to support young aspiring musicians with their study expenses, expenses such as instruments, text books, classroom materials, tuition, tuning and repairing of musical instruments and other related expenses. We believe that everyone with a passion for music should be en

couraged and have the oppertunity to exercise it. So Parade of Pianos holds recitals as much as possible all around the high desert, giving our music students the opportunity to perform in front of live audiences on a regular basis. To make all this happen we rely on the donations of kind people, many of the donations are instruments that are housed at Apple Valley Museum and then we find them homes with young musicians. Parade of Pianos Petting Zoo coming up on Saturday, July 23 at the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce starting at 1 pm and will end around 2:15 pm!! Bring your children so they can pick up an instrument and maybe learn how to play a note or two!!

Welcome to Parade of Pianos (POP)! We recognize that there are many students in the High Desert who have an interest in music but can't afford musical instruments or lessons. We want to help those students to realize their dreams of learning music. We accept working musical instruments. We also subsidize music lessons and offer scholarships for those pursuing a music career. All donations are tax deductible. Saturday, while we were having a recital at Merrill Gardens, unfortunately, we had several students out sick. Fortunately, these students are eager and excited and the circumstances just gave those who were there the chance to do some impromptu sight-reading and improvising. That is how you'd handle it in the real world guys-good job!
