Hi Folks
Greetings to you all.
This has been a year like no other. All of us have experienced ups and downs this season. One of the constant reminders as we celebrate Emmanuel (“God with us”) is that He is truly with us in every season. As we meditate on the story of Christmas, we are reminded that Christ came into a world that was beset by struggle and sin. He came offering hope. Hope in the present and hope for eternity.
We have experienced that in many ways as we grappled with an unprecedented and unforeseen ministry environment. We have seen communities experience hunger and homelessness as never before. Many families shared that there were many days where they did not know where their next meal would come from, as work dried up and they ran out of money during the lockdown.
Through all of this, we have experienced God move in amazing ways. One of those has been through your generosity to help us deliver food packets to the most vulnerable. From all the 2300 families who were blessed with food packets, we say a big “thank you” to you all.
As we look ahead to 2021, we will face a challenging environment. Poverty levels are projected to increase for the first time in 20 years. An additional 150 million people in the world will be living on less than $1.90 a day.
The challenge is big, but we know our God is able. We invite you to continue to partner with us in the next season to be the hands and feet of Jesus delivering the good news of the gospel along with real-life solutions of food, water and education.
We pray that you will experience the presence of “Emmanuel” in a powerful way and may the light of the Gospel in you impact those around you.
10And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11
Merry Christmas to you all!
