05.11.2024 Road Reflector Work Party

A BIG THANK YOU to some of our Board of Directors and Safety & Access Committee Members! Saturday they worked on installing more Road Reflectors throughout Lakeshore Dr. to better enhance the community! We like to recognize Committee Members, Bob Britt, Bill Greene, Margo Tann, Joanne Palmer and Board of Directors Larry Parks, Rusty Lisberg and Rusty Green and all who took part in getting this complete.

MAILBOX UPDATE INFORMATION

Good Morning Solera Residents,

Thank you for your patience as we have coordinated the purchase and installation of the replacement mailboxes on Avonlea Rd and Galloping Hill Rd. Six of the mailboxes that were vandalized or damaged have been replaced and the post office is finalizing the necessary arrangements to resume mail delivery for those residents. When those arrangements are completed the affected residents will receive notice to go to the post office to pick up their keys. We considered and discussed with the post office the possibilities of using the locks from the prior mailboxes however the post office had concerns about the quality condition and age of those locks and upon closer examination it was apparent that they have already begun replacing some of them.

The final two boxes have already been ordered and are in transit upon their arrival we will complete the installation of those two boxes and finalize this process. We thank you again for your patience and appreciate your understanding as we complete the final arrangements necessary to restore this vital service.

RESURFACING PROJECT SCHEDULE

Good Afternoon Solera Community,

We are excited to announce that TD Sports Courts has been approved to begin the resurfacing project on the courts at Gateway Dr., Aspen Clubhouse and the Mariposa Lodge.

Due to the scope of work the schedule will be contingent upon weather conditions but we will continue to update the community as we move forward with this project.

GATEWAY LOCATION | Northwest Grounds -
-Start Date: Wednesday, March 13, 2024. (8 am) Two-day removal process. Resurfacing to follow.

ASPEN CLUBHOUSE LOCATION | Northwest Grounds -
-Start Date: Tuesday March 19, 2024 Resurfacing to follow.

MARIPOSA LODGE LOCATION | Northwest Grounds -
-Pending Start Date.

SAFETY UDPATE AT SAGE CT.
Good morning, Solera Community,

We hope everyone had a great weekend. As discussed in my recent “Be in the Know”, The Board of Directors obtained the approvals necessary to begin the process of resolving the safety issue at Sage Ct. We are happy to report that High Desert Underground received the proper clearance from Dig Alert to begin work in that area and that work is being started today. Again, we will ask if you do not need to be in that area, please stay clear while they work to resolve this issue on our behalf.

We tried to give notice of contractor operations for projects of this nature. In this instance the contractor forgot to notify us that they received clearance to begin work which is why we were unable to provide notice to the community.
