9/11 Memorial Softball Tournament Rememebering our everyday heroes It's a day that we as a community can come out and support our local heroes with a day of fun for everyone.

This is our Annual Day of Remembrance Firemens and Ems Softball Tournament.This is when our local Emergency Agencies pay a special tribute to those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon 11 years ago. Local Firefighters and Ems from Warren, Scales Mound, Benton, Stockton, Shullsburg, Apple River, and more to come will compete for trophies and...bragging rights for a year.

Our Holiday Raffle tickets are in if anyone would like a chance on the Raffle let us know. 31 Drawings in the Month of December. Win your name goes right back in. 25 $75 spots and 6 $200 spots. Proceeds help us purchase small equipment that we use on calls and training. Thank you we appreciate it....

Shullsburg Fire won over Warren EMS in Game 1. Apple River Fire beat out Warren Fire Department in Game 2. Shullsburg Fire won over Stockton Fire in Game 3. Warren EMS beat out Warren Fire in Game 4.
Apple River Fire is playing Shullsburg Fire and the current score is 5-0 in favor of Apple River Fire. Next game is Warren EMS vs Stockton Fire.

We have been busy planning this years tournament which will be held on Saturday, September 9th. We are starting a little later this year. The first game will be at 10:00a.m. at the ball park in Apple River. As always we will have food, water, and sodas available that day. We hope to see you at the ballpark!

The fire department has some very exciting news!

The Labor Day celebration in the park is moving from Monday to Sunday!!!

Other changes are in the works and will be announced as they come.

As we sit back today and enjoy the beautiful day we have, take a moment to remember all those that we lost trying rescue the thousands in and around the twin towers. They are lost but never forgotten! Rest easy brothers.

So as you can see the trash talking has started. The bracket was made last night and spots were drawn for, so this is how the bracket came out... Stockton Fire will play Warren Fire at 8am, Scales Mound Fire will play Apple River at 9am. Shullsburg Fire and Warren EMS not have a bye for the first round. Shullsburg will play the winner of Stockton/Warren game, and Warren EMS will play Scales Mound in the second round. Come out and cheer on your favorite team!!!!
