Attention Waynedale Youth Football Parents:

The High School Coaching Staff and Varsity Players will be hosting a FREE Youth Football Camp for all students currently in grades K-5 from June 20-22nd at the high school! Please see the attached documents for more details and the Sign Up form. Forms are due by May 23rd and can be turned into the office at any Southeast Local school building or you can mail your form to:

Reminder: Please have your child at Maurer Field in Wooster (440 Park Dr Wooster) please have the girls at the field by 6:15pm Also since the weather has been getting cooler and rain is in the forecast please make sure they are dressed appropriately.

REMINDER:
Boys should be in PRACTICE jersey and pants, full pads and cleats for their practices. No shorts, tennis shoes and t-shirts (unless t-shirts are under the pads). We've started full contact at this point and your child won't be able to practice without the appropriate gear. This is for their safety. If your child doesn't have uniform pants they can be purchased at any sporting goods store in Wooster. It's also highly recommended that you check with other parents. Many kids outgrow cleats and pants year to year. Save some money and pass them along. If you have any extras lying around please feel free to give them to our coaches and we'll make sure they find a good home with a child who needs them. 🤓

Also...The gold pants and jerseys provided are for game days only. They are NOT to be worn at practices. Our uniforms aren't cheap, and wearing them to practice causes unnecessary wear on our equipment. We strive to provide a quality athletic experience at an affordable price. That becomes difficult if we are replacing gear every year.

Due to the possibility of storms tonight football practices have been canceled. This practice will be made up next Tuesday from 530 to 730.

Don't forget!!!
Aug 1st starts our football conditioning! Practices will be every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30
Please have your kids there at 5:15. Have them wear shorts or athletic pants, t-shirt and their cleats (non metal please). Also please bring a drink with your kids name on it or some type of way to identify it. Finally if you still need to sign up or pay for your kid you can do that tonight at the shed in front of the Jr High.
