Appalachia Lions Club The Appalachian Lions Club was formed in 1941, just before World War II.

We do free eye testing for hundreds of children a year, provide glasses to the needy and work in other projects throughout our community.

Don't forget we will be meeting today May 11 at 1pm at Kelly view school to work out what our role will be in the July 4th event.
Our meeting is Thurs May 14 at 6pm , pot luck and sandwiches ,please comment what you want to bring,
Ben: bologna, bread, and a salad.

The great American cleanup is this weekend . Appalachia will be meeting under the bridge beside Family Dollar at 9am on Sat. There is areas around town that are in need of attention so everyone come out and help keep our town one of the cleanest. Share this post so everyone will know where to meet. We will be decorating the tree in the center of Appalachia tomorrow April 15 at 10am. Anyone wanting to help ,just come by and help. We will also be planting a Memorial tree at the Lions Club at 12 pm on Thurs April 16, come by and be a part. Thanks for all you do.
