Scout Gabe Farr volunteers with Camp Thunderbird; last fall he led a dedicated group to build a gazebo that many campers have grown to enjoy.

Check out Jacob's amazing Eagle Scout project! Jacob and his team built this roomy wolf sanctuary this past weekend to house dangerous animals such as this beautiful canine shown in the video below. Congratulations, Mr. Beekman, on a job well done!

Looks like yesterday's ride was a nice one! This group had a good ride on the West Orange Trail, traveling almost 19 miles with a stop in Winter Garden for an ice cream treat!

Eagle Scout Project Carwash - Saturday after Thanksgiving - 9am - 3pm

My name is Jacob B. I am a senior at Lake Brantley High School, and an aspiring Eagle Scout from Troop 10.

I am having a carwash from 9 AM - 3 PM on November 25th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, at 1400 Rock Springs Road (Discount Advanced Auto Parts).

This carwash is being used to fund my Eagle project, which entails the demolition and construction of a habitat for a wolf named Kaniu at a local wolf sanctuary. Any donations I receive will go towards making Kaniu’s habitat safer, more spacious, and more appealing. If you can’t make it out to my carwash, any form of donation helps, whether it be money, tools to lend, concrete, or lumber. This is a great opportunity to help me achieve my goals, and help an organization in your community.

Crew 10 arrived back home Wednesday after their 5-day white water rafting trip in Copperhill, TN. Looks like great fun, full of adventure! Special thanks to Mr. Hodgkins and Mr. Kaczmarek for being our adult drivers and chaperones! That was a big job for just two dads. Thank you guys for making this trip possible and for everything else you do too!

Troop 10 has done some pretty amazing Eagle Scout projects lately! Last month, with the help of many hands from Troop 10, Levi Taylor completed his electrical project at ARC (Avian Reconditioning Center). Sixteen scouts and four dads worked hard in the heat digging trenches and laying about 300' feet of conduit and wiring to power up ARC's bird barns. It was a fantastic project, and even the Mayor of Apopka came out to visit the work in progress. 👍🏽 Many thanks to all who helped! And special thanks to Tim MacLaughlin for sharing his Electrician skills, ensuring that all the connections were made properly and safely!
