Boy Scout Troop 211

Boy Scout Troop 211 Our purpose is to help young men become the future leaders of their communities.

Founded in 1958 by First United Methodist Church of Apopka, Troop 211 is Apopka's oldest Boy Scout Troop and remains dedicated to serving the community and youth with in it. Troop 211's purpose is help young men develop their Duty to God and Country, to Others and to Self. Through the Scouting program, we hope to develop their awareness of self reliance, to improve their individual and group skil

ls, and to increase their abilities and knowledge, especially those of nature and the outdoors. Our program includes both adventure and work with an emphasis on growth and advancement in all phases of character building, citizenship and leadership skills.

Hi All!

Please come out tomorrow, Sunday, September 7, 2025, to First United Methodist Church in Apopka (201 S. Park Ave, Apopka), behind the Creative Hub House to support Josiah G.'s Eagle Project Car Wash.

Josiah and his team will wash your car for a donation towards his project. He is purchasing and assembling benches for the non-profit organization the Sanford Yacht Club.

Scouts will be washing cars from 9am - 2pm behind the Creative Hub House. The entrance to the Hub House is on 2nd Street. Please come out if you can, and share with your network. Josiah is so close to his fundraising goal, and we hope that this car wash can get him over the top!
