On behalf of myself and the Officers of Sunshine State HillBilly Clan No. 49, we would like to take the time to reach out and thank all who came out to support us on our First Annual HillBilly Hoedown! The event was such a great success due to the hard work and support of so many that stepped forward with their time to support us… I will try to mention everyone, but rest assured if we miss you, we still appreciate all you did for us. With that we send out a huge “HillBilly Thank you” to:

Cuzzin Craig and Natasha Frazier, Cuzzin Ed and Susan Sexton, Cuzzin Chris and Jean Johns, Cuzzin Carlos Crispin and Wendy Pettit, Cuzzin Nick Seda, Ken Vehec, JJ and Miss Thelma, and Cuzzin Chuck Lindner. Without the contributions you do for our fraternity and or unit in a whole, we would not be able to function.

We would also like to thank the Sandy Back Porch for making time to come on out and play us some great tunes, and Ormazd Grotto for being such a gracious host and allowing us to us their location for our venue.

A great Congratulations to Cuzzin Jean Johns for being awarded the “Possum Queen” winner for the 2021 year! (I am sure some pictures will be circulating of her wonderful outfit)

If you couldn’t make it, you missed out on one heck of an amazing night that will go down in the books! Great Food, Friends, and Fellowship was had by all! We are already looking forward to next year! Thank you all again!

Y'all don't want to miss this BIG event!
We'll be crownin' our first annual POSSUM QUEEN this SATURDAY evenin' at the HILLBILLY HOEDOWN! All you Hillbilly Gals can enter, just dress to the 9's in your most outrageous Hillbilly Gal threads. We're ROASTING A PIG and we'll have a LIVE BLUEGRASS BAND! I reckon we'll have some ADULT LIBATIONS to warm your innards too.
If you're a Shriner or Shriners Lady and want to join the Hillbilly Clan we'll be conferring the degree for the gents at 5PM, and the gals at 6PM. The HOEDOWN will kick off around 7PM.
