We are excited to announce that the 2nd Montauk, New York Inshore/Offshore Fishing event will cast off June 8th-11th in beautiful Montauk, New York. This event will feature top-notch food, accommodations, camaraderie, and fishing, as our Heroes hit the Atlantic in pursuit of striped bass, tuna, and more! 📢 We need your help! We are still in need of 2 Wisconsin bear tag donations for upcoming WWIA events specifically for "Zone A" for the 2026 season. If you were awarded a "Zone A" bear tag for 2026 and are unable to use it or would like to donate one to help support our Purple Heart Heroes, we would greatly appreciate it!

These donated bear tags will go toward the following WWIA events: 2026 7th Annual Wisconsin Heroes Northland Black Bear Hunt in Iron River, Wisconsin and the 2026 8th Annual Camp Hackett Black Bear Hunt in Phillips, Wisconsin. This is a great way to give back to our Heroes and help us prepare for these events later this year. It's almost time to venture into the last frontier! Our Heroes will be heading to beautiful Seward, Alaska for the 13th Annual Alaska Halibut Fishing Event from June 12th-17th. There will be plenty of camaraderie, world-class halibut fishing, wildlife, and scenic landscapes to enjoy. The Kalmar Community Center is hosting their Spaghetti Fundraising Dinner tomorrow, May 27th from 4pm to 8pm in support of the upcoming Wounded Warriors In Action Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge. This awesome event will proudly celebrate their 12th year of welcoming and honoring our Purple Heart Heroes as they pursue the ever-elusive muskie.

Aside from having a wonderful time with fellow patriotic Americans, the dinner will also feature 50/50 tickets, numerous raffles, and some delicious food and desserts to boot! 🍝 Make your Wednesday one to remember and head on over to the Kalmar Community Center tomorrow!
