These sweet second graders made our day with their thank-you notes! 💙🐬 They’re showing their appreciation for their Spirit Shirts and the ice cream treat they earned through our Membership Drive. And just look at those smiles — they’re already excited for Trunk or Treat! 🎃👻

Thank you to everyone who joined the PTSA and helped make these fun incentives possible. Your support helps us fund so many wonderful things for our students, and we love seeing the joy it brings to our Dolphin family!

🐬 CHOICE WINDOW OPENS OCTOBER 21! 🐬

It’s almost time! The Magnet and School Choice Window opens on October 21st!

📣 Important reminder for 5th grade families: All middle school seats at Apollo Beach K-8 are choice seats. If your 5th grader would like to attend ABK8 for 6th grade, you must submit a choice application through the FOCUS Parent Portal.

🆕 Using FOCUS for choice applications is new this year! Be sure you’re registered for the FOCUS Parent Portal and can successfully access your account before the application window opens.

🐬 A little PTSA update and a big thank you!

A huge thank-you to Dr. Melissa Fickey of Embracing Life Wellness Center for joining us at last week’s general PTSA meeting! We are so grateful she took the time to share her knowledge and expertise with our families. Her presentation was incredibly informative and educational, and her warm, personable approach made the information so easy to connect with. We truly appreciate having community professionals who are willing to share their time and make such a positive impact on our school community!

Attached is the agenda from last week’s general PTSA meeting so our families can stay informed and see what we’ve been working on together! All of this makes our events like Trunk or Treat possible! 🎃 There are so many moving pieces behind the scenes, and we are incredibly thankful for everyone who has volunteered their time, offered to help, and supported this event. It takes a village, and we are so lucky to have one!

We are still collecting candy donations to help make Trunk or Treat extra special for our Dolphins. Thank you to everyone who has already donated! Every bag makes a difference, and we are so appreciative of your generosity. If you haven’t had a chance to donate yet, we would be so grateful for your help!

Trunk or Treat is October 17, and we need YOUR help to feed the monster! 👀

We moved Trunk or Treat to Saturday based on feedback about Friday night sports and work schedules. With the change, we have fewer businesses able to participate — so our ABK8 families and community are more important than ever! 💙
