Garage sale forms are now available! Pick one up at City Hall, Lincoln Savings Bank - Aplington, Shear Beautique, Aplington Public Library, or Casey's. The garage sale is scheduled for May 30th. Please submit your forms by May 8th, so we can release the listing sooner this year!

Each year, we recognize an outstanding resident who has demonstrated dedication, leadership, and service to our town. The Aplington Citizen of the Year award honors someone who goes above and beyond to support others, contribute to local initiatives, and embody the spirit of Aplington.

2️⃣ Fill out a form at any of our Aplington businesses (City Hall, LSB, Library, For Heaven's Sake, Harken Lumber and Peppercorn Pantry)

Less than 1 week until our annual egg hunt!!

Trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

We didn’t just double, but we TRIPPLED the amount of eggs we’re putting out this year! On top of that, thanks to all of our AMAZING sponsors, we are also expecting more door prizes to hand out than we originally planned.

A Few Reminders:
• Ages 0-10 are invited to join us

• Egg hunt will begin at 1:00 with registration starting at 12:30 by the closed shelter house

• The Easter Bunny will be there accompanied by Miss Aplington

• Please bring your own basket/bag to collect eggs in

Wanted to take a minute to thank Jeff and Mike for doing such great work clearing the streets and parking! That was a lot of snow at one time! They worked through the night and all day today to make sure we all could get around town today! Thank you both! You're hard work is very much appreciated!!

It’s still pretty cold outside, but let’s have warm thoughts!! ☀️

The Community Club is actively planning for 2026 Aplington Days and we need YOUR help coming up with this year’s theme.

What theme do you want to see take place? Any costumes laying around at home that are just DYING for a parade entrance? What about a theme that could bring some awesome entertainment to the park to coordinate with it? Wha about a theme that could inspire some delicious park meals?

What ideas do you guys have?! We’re listening! 👂🏽
