Our breast cancer awareness event was nothing short of amazing. We didn’t just host an event. We created a space for courage, advocacy, and early detection.

We empowered women to prioritize their health, ask questions and take action and together, we amplify the message that no one fights alone to every survivor, caregiver, clinician and volunteering partner.

Thank you for making this day unforgettable your presence your energy, and your commitment are the heartbeat of this work.

Social action and civic engagement is a collective effort, and we, the Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, are putting that commitment into action!

Our chapter has been busy preparing and sending out Voter Encouragement Cards to remind and inspire registered voters to make their voices heard during Early Voting and on Election Day!

Our dedicated Sorors have been hard at work writing heartfelt messages of encouragement, reminding voters that their voices matter and that every vote is an opportunity to make a difference!

This initiative is about more than mailing cards. It's about encouraging participation, strengthening civic engagement, and reminding our communities of the power and importance of exercising their right to vote.

Whether you're casting a ballot, encouraging a neighbor, or helping spread the word about the importance of voting, YOU have a part to play!

Together, we're turning encouragement into action, one card, one conversation, and one voter at a time!

On behalf of the Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., please join us in celebrating our 2025–2026 Scholarship Recipients.

This past year, we awarded over $30,000, including five community scholarships, six Well Read Book Club Scholarships, and one Jabberwock scholarship.

These outstanding high school graduates, now college students, have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and service to their communities. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and trust that this is only the beginning of what is in store for these brilliant scholars.
