The Apache Junction Police Officers Association, FOP Lodge #83, extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, fellow deputies, and entire Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office following the tragic loss of Deputy Katherine Frank.

The loss of a law enforcement officer is felt far beyond the community they serve. It is a loss felt throughout our entire law enforcement family.

We stand alongside our brothers and sisters in South Dakota during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone mourning this heartbreaking loss.

Deputy Frank, thank you for your service, dedication, and sacrifice. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those you served and those who wear the badge.

On September 19th, our community came together for more than just a round of golf.
The 2nd Annual 911 Tee Off Tournament brought law enforcement, firefighters, local businesses, friends, and supporters together for a day built around community, service, and giving back. Events like this are only possible because so many people continue to stand behind those who serve.

I’m incredibly honored to receive the endorsement by our Apache Junction Police FOP Lodge 83 and the Arizona Fraternal Order of Police.

The men and woman who protect both our schools and our community know firsthand what it takes to keep AJUSD safe and strong. I’m grateful for their confidence in me and for the work they do every day to serve our community.

As someone who has called this district home for my entire life, I’m committed to listening to our community, supporting those who serve it, and working together to make sure AJUSD remains a safe, welcoming place for every family.

For two and a half centuries, our nation has stood on the foundation of freedom, courage, sacrifice, and service. As we celebrate with family, friends, and our community, let us remember the men and women who fought to build this country, those who defend it, and those who continue to serve every day.

Today, we honor all fathers, father figures, and mentors — especially our members and all police officers who continue to serve their families and communities with strength, sacrifice, and dedication.

To the officers working today, missing family time, answering calls, and standing watch while others celebrate — we see you and appreciate you.
