🧵✂️ Sewing Project is off to a great start! 🍀

Our High Country 4-H Sewing Project held its first meeting of the new 4-H year on Saturday, and our members jumped right into creating! Members brought shirts from home and learned how to upcycle them into reusable tote bags. 👕➡️👜 What a fun way to practice sewing skills while giving something old a brand-new purpose!

This meeting was also extra special because it marked the beginning of our partnership with Calvary Chapel Mountain Center, who generously opened their facilities for our Sewing Project meetings. We are so thankful for their support of our 4-H members and for providing a space where they can learn, create, and grow. 💚

We can't wait to see what our sewing members create next!

4-H is a national youth development program for ages 5–19 that helps young people build confidence, leadership, responsibility, and life skills through hands-on learning. Whether your child is interested in animals, gardening, baking, archery, public speaking, community service, or creative arts, there's a place for them in 4-H!

📸🌲 Greetings from 4-H Camp at Mt. Kare! 🌲📸

The High Country 4-H crew is having an amazing time at camp! From new friendships and outdoor adventures to games, learning, and plenty of laughter, our members are making memories that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful for this opportunity to experience all that 4-H camp has to offer and can't wait to share more of our adventures with you!

A huge thank you to our High Country 4-H members and families who spent part of their Saturday morning giving a little clean-up love to the Lions Club of Anza Valley Field! 💚

We are grateful for the opportunity to support another local nonprofit organization that gives so much back to our community. From pulling weeds to tidying up the grounds, our members worked hard to help get the field ready for upcoming events.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the Anza Lions Gymkhana coming up on June 6th! 🐎 We wish them a successful event and appreciate all they do for our local youth and community.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we also take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

From all of us at High Country 4-H, thank you to those who served and to the families who carry their memory. ❤️🤍💙

🏕️ Riverside County 4-H Summer Camp registration is now open! Join fellow 4-H members June 15–20 at Mt. Kare Camp in Wrightwood for a week full of fun, friendships, outdoor adventures, campfires, activities, and unforgettable memories. Registration is open through June 5th — spots fill quickly!

🍀 Green was the color of the day at our High Country 4-H meeting! 🍀

Our members went all out with the green and brought the St. Patrick’s spirit to the club meeting. We love seeing the creativity and fun our members bring each month! 💚
