The City of Antioch is celebrating 150 years of Cityhood! The Rotary Club of Antioch, California is one of the oldest Clubs in the area of East Contra Costa County. Since 1947, the Rotary Club of Antioch has been a part of developing the community of Antioch. We are a 501c non-profit service organization whose mission is to do local service projects and provide scholarships in the community of Ant
ioch and to contribute to international efforts to end polio and support Rotary efforts abroad particularly in Africa in areas of vision and dental care. Our community service projects will include:
3rd Grade Literacy Project, AUSD Antioch Middle School Dance Floor and Costumes for Ballet de Folkorio. Various Youth Scholarship and Youth Rotary Club Projects: Awarding High School Scholarships, Supporting our Interact Club at Antioch High and Co-sponsoring a Rotaract club at Los Medanos College. Empowerment Project: Coordinate with middle schools to motivate our youth to achieve their higher life goals. Kings Conference: Empowering at risk male students
Annual Antioch Rotary Club Bunny Hop 5K to Support Other Non-Profits and School Activities in the Antioch Community such as Antioch High School, Deer Valley High School, Antioch Senior Center, etc. International Projects: Support Rotary International Projects such as IVV, Kenya Smiles, Rotary Efforts to End Polio and International Girls Empowerment.
5 goals for 2021-2025 year:
1. Increase our membership by 25% with those who embrace the spirit and drive of Rotarians.
2. Engage Rotarians in Projects that they will enjoy.
3. Allow Time for Fellowship.
4. $25,000 contribution to Rotary Foundation
