Keynote Speaker Announcement – Founder’s Day Dinner
We are honored to announce that Antioch City Councilwoman Tamisha Torres-Walker for Antioch D1 will serve as the Keynote Speaker for our Bridge Builders to the New Generation Founder’s Day Dinner.
Councilwoman Torres-Walker is a visionary leader and dedicated advocate for the reintegration and empowerment of formerly incarcerated individuals. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Safe Return Project, she has led impactful efforts to challenge mass incarceration and support those navigating reentry. With over 14 years of experience in community organizing, her work focuses on criminal justice reform, violence prevention, and addressing systemic inequities. Her journey—from incarceration in 2009 to becoming a powerful voice for change—embodies resilience, leadership, and transformation. Through her advocacy, research, and service on multiple boards throughout Contra Costa County, she continues to create pathways for justice and opportunity.
We are proud to have her join us for this powerful evening as we celebrate our youth, our community, and the work ahead.
