Antioch Garden Club’s ever popular annual plant sale is Saturday, May 16 from 10 am-1 pm. You can find locally grown annuals as well as perennials. Start the season with healthy plants at a very reasonable price. See our flyer for details on this page for complete details. See you there!

Columbine can support a variety of wildlife. Not only are the flowers of columbine attractive to us humans, but they are also attractive to several different pollinators. The nectar is located deep in the spurs, so it is visited by pollinators with long tongues, like ruby-throated hummingbirds (columbine is often blooming as hummingbirds migrate north in the spring), bumble bees, and hawk moths.

Normally, our scholarship is 1000$ annually. It it the Nancy Zitkus scholarship ! Nancy’s family has gifted the club 5000$ for use for the scholarship. The board members agreed to split the 5K into 5 years, so, for the next 5 years our scholarship will be 2000K annually. Applications are available on our website Antioch garden club.org. Open to students in the surrounding area going into horticulture fields ! We would LOVE to consider you !
