🎒Weekend Backpack Program - Bags of non perishable food provided to students from our school district on the weekends during the school year.

Bags of food include child friendly foods such as Mac and cheese, granola bars, fruits and veggies, ramen, and others.

💵Yearly operational expenses $91,170!

The program runs during the school year, October thru May.

🎒$210 donation will sponsor one child for the year.

Schools serviced: Antigo school district elementary, middle, and high schools. Peace Lutheran school , All Saints Catholic School, and Headstart.

👜The Antigo Area Community Food Pantry is back for our 3rd Annual Purses for the Pantry Designer Purse Bingo & Food Drive, October 30th 2026 at NorthStar Lanes.

Doors open at 4pm Bingo starts at 6pm

🎟$50 ticket includes 10 games of bingo w/2 cards, 25 raffle basket tickets, and door prizes.

💥No online sales, must be 18 years old or older to participate.

🎒🍊Ready to sign up for the WeekEnd Backpack Program?

Applications are available through school secretaries and websites, or at this link: https://www.antigofoodpantry.com/weekend-backpack-program-web

🩵The program is free, with no income requirements.

Each week during the school year October - May, backpacks (or bags) are prepared weekly and sent home through Antigo Area schools.

🥗The bags contain easy to prepare food and nutritional information such as recipes for children and families.

The cost to run the program for 1 child is $210, last year we served 440 kids❗️
