๐Ÿ‘‰The College & Career Readiness Coordinator is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of the Be Great Graduate and Workforce Development programs that will help prepare teens and younger members to succeed after high school through post-secondary education options, career exploration, workforce readiness, internship/apprenticeship experiences, and other related initiatives. This position will work independently to develop productive partnerships with businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, community organizations, and other community stakeholders.

Our Story

The Boys & Girls Club of Langlade County was established in 2000 by local community members to address the need for consistent, ongoing, and supervised, outcome-driven programs after school (the critical hours between the end of the school day and when parents arrive home from work) as well as extended hours during the summer months for our communityโ€™s youth. Our doors are currently open for all youth, ages 6-18 (Grades 1-12) more than 190 days a year. We charge a school year membership fee of $25 and a summer membership fee of $100. No youth is turned away because of the inability to pay.

Our Vision is to provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
