Amy Bennett Foundation The Amy Bennett Foundation, is a commemorative and fundraising platform for Amy's passions for the arts.

We actively provide financial assistance for youth artists in musical theater at accredited institutions at the high school and collegiate levels. The Amy Bennett Foundation continues Amy’s dreams beyond her passing. Amy was killed in tragic circumstances, in a collision with a truck as she biked to work. In the foundation's first year, we were instrumental in providing biker protection advocacy,

and we spearheaded the passage of a 3 foot law in Wyoming. Since 2016, the primary purpose of the Fund has been to create and disburse scholarship funds that are used to enrich the lives of youth and college performers; at Starlight , where Amy got her start, at UNC's Musical Theater Program, and at the Arizona and National Thespian levels. Announcing our 2026 Arizona State Thespian Scholarship recipient: Ella Kenney 🎭

The Amy Bennett Memorial Scholarship recognizes performers who most exemplify Amy’s passion for singing, dancing, and acting.

Ella was selected for her excellent musicianship and her amazing talent. On the spot, she sang a Frank Sinatra song, Something Stupid. Amy would have loved that! 💕

Congratulations, Ella! We can’t wait to see you perform in the near future. 🥳🎉🎶🎤
